L said people who going overseas do not mean their English is good actually.
One day, a president (from UK if I'm not mistaken) of a company has invited to their company to have a talk. Mr.L was the emcee that day while his colleague, John sit the most front of the hall which also next to the president.
After the talk, president back to his place, John and his manager, Roger stood up and shake hand with him.
John started a conversation, 'Ooh.. Your speech is profane! Good good~~ keep it on...'
President felt weird and stare at him and only replied him, 'Opps... did i??'
John said, 'Yea.. yea..profane!' (Omg~he still repeat the word 'profane'. Actually he wanna say the word 'profound')
President seems like getting mad and asked him again, 'Are you sure? Did I just say that?'
Roger said softly but in a angry way, 'Shut up John!!!'
John was so embarrassed that moment. At the last of the event, president asked Roger, 'Do Malaysia do not have other better employee to employed? What a horrible employee you employed?!'
From that day onwards, Roger not dare to let him to meet those foreign customers anymore.
